Police arrest 27-year old robber wey specialize to dey steal from expatriate worshipers for the National Mosque

Police arrest 27-year-old beggar, Bashir Adamu for allegedly assaulting motorists and snatching phones and handbags, reveal em targets be expatriates wey dey worship for the National Mosque, Abuja.

Dem arrest am along with two others. He yan say he dey operate on Fridays during Juma’at prayers. Police sources reveal say dem arrest the suspect about a fortnight ago say em snatch a phone at the mosque, adding say dem don arraigned and grant am bail before dem re-arrest him for  similar offence last Friday. .

Adamu, wey admit say dem just release am on bail, say, “I only target oyinbo people (expatriates) who come to the National Mosque to pray on Fridays. Sometimes, they give alms and while they are doing that, I steal their phones or bags from their car and run. I use the money to feed."
