Nigerians for South Africa don confirm the killing of one member, Kingsley Ikeri for Vryheid Town for Kwazulu Natal Province on Aug. 30, 2017.
To take confirm the killing, NAN report say later Ikeri wey be 27-year-old na businessman and native of Mbaitolu for Imo state.
The chairman of the union for the province, Bartholomew Eziagulu, yan NAN for Durban on Friday say dem torture Ikeri to death.
He say the union investigation reveal say dem arrest Ikeri with em friends ontop sey dem suspect say dem carry hard drugs.
When dem dey interrogate am, Eziagulu talk say the police use plastic bag to take cover em face to take get information from am.
He say;
“In the process, they suffocated the deceased. When the police took him to the hospital, he was confirmed dead,”
Mr Adetola Oulubajo, the secretary general of the union, talk say dem don inform the national secretariat ontop this matter so.
He talk say the group don inform the necessary Nigerian authorities and police for South Africa.
Meanwhile, one senior diplomat from the Nigerian Consulate for Johannesburg don visit Vryheid on fact-finding mission, as some members of the union and other Nigerians follow am.
