Youths for Akwa Ibom dump coffins for front of one Exxon Mobile gate, Airstrip



Youths of the core oil community, Eket, Esit-Eket, Onna and Ibeno Local Government Areas don start warning protest for Exxon Mobile oil company say make dem relocate to em headquarters wey dey Akwa Ibom state on Monday.



As e dey rain for the area, dem barricade the gate of the company for their housing estate wey Eket dey kon put coffins and other traditional injunctions inside.

Organizer of the protest Mr Joe Etukudo as em dey represent the Afigh Iwaad Ekid yan say:

"Time has come for Mobil to relocate to Akwa Ibom State in keeping with the presidential directives"

"Today is just a warning protest done in a very civilized manner, we will eventually shut down Mobil's operation both onshore and offshore if after fourteen days the company does not take us seriously." 


He kon blast the oil giant say dem dey always dey partial when dem dey award contract and won employ people for the community and Akwa Ibom indigenes in general.
