At least five people don sustain minor injury after passengers aboard a Delta Airline flight from Lagos, Nigeria to Atlanta use emergency slide to evacuate the flight and return to the airport for Lagos.
According to Delta, the Airbus A330-200 get issue with one of em two engine. Flight 55 land safely but five passengers suffer minor injury during the evacuation while the plane dey on the runway.
The passengers evacuate the plane using escape slides wey be an unusual occurrence wey show the seriousness of the incident.
Delta's website indicate say the Airbus A330-200 get 234 seats. It get two Pratt & Whitney PW4000 turbofan engines. The engine manufacturer, Pratt & Whitney, yan for one statement say e dey work with "authorities to assess the situation."
