United States government shut down on President Trump first year anniversary

Today be President Trump first year anniversary since taking office but it also be a day wey the senate fail to pass the spending bill wey kon lead the United States government to shutdown for midnight.

For one dramatic late-night session, senators block a bill to extend government funding through Feb. 16. The bill need 60 votes in the 100-member Senate but fall short, with only 50 supporting it. 
Most Democrats oppose the bill because their efforts to include protections for hundreds of thousands of mostly young immigrants known as Dreamers fail.

Trump immediately sought to blame Democrats. “Tonight, they put politics above our national security, military families, vulnerable children, and our country’s ability to serve all Americans,” the White House yan for one statement.
